Tichenor Clinic for Children

Tichenor’s mission is to maximize children’s abilities by providing therapy and family support services to those with limited access. We help children with orthopedic, developmental and neurodevelopmental disabilities, focusing our resources on families who are uninsured, under-insured, or cannot find affordable or specialized pediatric therapy services.??

Tichenor’s current programs include specialized pediatric therapy (physical, occupational, speech-language, and aquatic) for children with disabilities, age birth to 18. Our parent/caregiver empowerment services (including educational support groups, assistance understanding and navigating the legal and public education systems, and self-advocacy training) support the wellbeing of the whole family.


We partner with other community-based agencies that serve families who are low-income and who have children with disabilities, co-locating services at our clinic whenever possible.
