Celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2024, Mental Health America of Los Angeles continues to be a national leader in mental health service, advocacy, innovation, and training. Since the pandemic, we have nearly doubled the number of members served, almost 20,000 individuals last year, including Veterans and transition-age youth. MHALA offers comprehensive and integrated services such as housing, healthcare, employment, and education. MHALA recognizes that mental health is not a binary phenomenon and that everyone has ''mental health'' that fluctuates based on their experiences and resources, which is why we also provide an assortment of community training programs that teach wellness and resilience skills as well as how to identify and respond to a mental health crisis in the home, at school, or in the workplace.
