Join us to learn from our guest speaker, Karie Armstrong, about the ins and outs of leasing for brick and mortar. Karie will cover the leasing process, how to use a broker, and site selection. During the webinar, we will discuss the different types of leases, timelines and expectations, letter of intent, in addition to the build-out of the space and funding evaluation.
Our discussion will cover legal formation for startups, including:

- Business permits
- Resale Certificates
- Federal Employer Identification Numbers (FEIN)
- Other regulatory filing
We will also discuss:
- The vision you have for your business, especially regarding its size and the proposed number of employees

- The level of “structure” that works best for you
- The business’s vulnerability to lawsuits
