Hear from Julian Cernuda with the City of Long Beach's Economic Development Department!
About Julian:
Julian serves as the Business Development Bureau Manager, at the City of Long Beach, Economic Development Department. Julian leads the development and implementation of business attraction, retention, and support programs across all the City’s business sectors. This includes supporting the City’s Business Improvement Districts, small business support programs, the Cannabis Equity program, and the Revolving Loan Fund program.
Julian previously served as an Assistant to the City Manager, where he engaged in a host of citywide projects of special interest to the City Manager. He started his career at Long Beach as fellow and advanced high priority project for the City Manager’s Office, Financial Management, and Police Department.
Julian earned his Master in Public Administration, and a Certificate in City and County Management from the Price School of Public Policy, at the University of Southern California. He holds A.B degrees in Spanish and Political Science from Wabash
