Long Beach PECC (Peer Education Community Center) is thrilled to announce the upcoming WorkWaves Community Job Expo & Career Empowerment event, a platform designed to empower young adults (18-32) and veterans by providing them with valuable career resources and connecting them with potential employers. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 10th, from 11am to 2pm at the Long Beach City College - Pacific Coast Campus in Parking Lot 10. WorkWaves aims to address the employment challenges faced by young adults and veterans who have been system impacted in our community by offering them a unique opportunity to explore a wide range of career options, engage with employers from diverse industries, and connect with valuable community resources. Anticipating a large turnout, the event is expected to draw approximately 200 attendees or more.
